OK guys, standardish format for us:

40k Tourney
When: March 6, 2010
Where: Castle
Time: 11am start
Fee: $10
Prize: Imperial Armor Vol 5.

Scoring: Painting and Sportsmanship.

I'll be there with my Tyranids. I would LOVE to win that, I have all the forgeworld books except the Vraks series.... That would be one less I have to buy.

My friend should be there with his Chaos too.

Oh, and before the game could the Entire group go over how to score painting and sportsmanship?

Just because the army is painted, doesn't mean it gets full points. If the sports score is out of 20, a normal game is a 10. NOT a 20. An amazing game is a 20. I don't think people realize these things.

Hey all, if we don't get at least EIGHT people for this tourney (to make sure we cover the cost of the big prize), we'll just to an Apocalypse battle instead.

Everyone will still use the same list for the tourney, but bring some extras, just in case.

I'm up for apocalypse, that's how I've always felt 40k should be played when it's done fair.

Hopefully we still get 8 though.

CUrrently only three that I know of.

Either way, there's still gonna be an entry fee, so that we can at least raffle off the IA Book. Still $10. Any excess past what the book costs Jeff will be used as more prizes.

Well guys, that was a complete flop. We didn't even get 3 people to come and play; had to badger Sky into playing.

Of the entrants for the raffle Eric won the book.

No worries man; Hjal and Eric played a game; very close one too, woulda been a tournamet tie.

Then we got 4 turns or so into an apoc game.
